We are CloudDokter, an online medical platform that allows you to get medical advice and care everywhere you go. By joining CloudDokter you can easily ask a health question via your phone, tablet or computer.
The starting point of CloudDokter is that we will answer your healthcare questions online/digitally 24/7 as much as possible. Of course, we will still offer physical contacts if the health problem explicitly requires that.
Based on an advanced self-diagnosis scan, an answer will be given based on urgency. This can be in the form of healthcare advice, e-consultation or a video call. At all times, a general practitioner will assess and monitor the advice in the background.
Our “CloudPatient” can digitally approach us 24/7 for every healthcare question, will be able to schedule video call consultations, request repeat prescriptions and will be able to view parts of his/her medical file, as well as all correspondence of his/her specialists with his/her CloudDokter.

These medical centres are combining their knowledge to provide faster, more efficient and easier medical care to the patients that reside in Almere.
The CloudDokter concept arose from the fact that there is an imminent shortage of general practitioners. By offering extensive digital healthcare in addition to regular healthcare, where the patient can expressly choose for, we expect that we will be able to somewhat compensate for the shortage of general practitioners in the future. Since we are in a start-up phase, we want to align digital healthcare as much as possible with the wishes of patients. Feedback is very welcome.
